Warren Smith joins the Planks family

Planks is proud to announce our exciting new partnership with Warren Smith and the Warren Smith Ski Academy!

In much the same way that Planks’ founder Jim Adlington built his business from humble dry slope beginnings, Warren Smith has developed his skills over the past 30 years to become one of the leading voices in the UK ski industry.

As well as his internationally renowned Verbier-based Ski Academy, Warren has become the leading exponent of using biomechanics to improve skiing technique. Whether you're a pro rider or an annual holiday leisure skier, you could undoubtedly benefit from Warren’s advice and concepts, taught both through his UK snow centre-based courses and his store focused Technique Tour.  

Warren writes regular articles on skiing and technique for mainstream press and his YouTube channel is full of technical tips to get you ski ready. Following on from his successful career as a pro freeride skier, this makes him the perfect person to now be supporting Planks as an ambassador for the brand.  

We are looking forward to welcoming Warren to the Planks team this Friday at The Snow Centre Hemel and introducing him to our Planks athletes as part of our #Grassroots tour. Warren Smith’s British Freeski Camps are providing the coaching for the tour to ensure everyone gets the most of their time with us!

Warren and his academy will be putting Planks' gear to the test this Winter and we look forward to hearing and incorporating his product feedback as we continue to ensure we make the highest quality product possible.
