Wrap-up
This season has been our biggest to date and we were stoked to see the Planks community grow a little further afield. Alongside our dedicated Planks Val d'Isère and Planks La Plagne stores, we opened three brand new stores in Méribel and Morzine, plus our flagship Clothing & Coffee store in Tignes.
All of our stores have had a great response this season, so it's time for each of them to take a well-earned Summer break ready for next season. Sit back, relax and check out our highlights of the Winter in resort...
When Woodsy came to stay!
Fresh off the back of his X-Games win, Woodsy headed straight over to the Alps to hang out in Morzine, Méribel and Tignes.
Among the interviews, photo-shoots and testing next season’s gear, Woodsy was also in the park shredding and meeting you guys. A huge thank you to everyone to came down to join us and made it one awesome week.

Hanging out with the Porteous boys in Tignes.
During a training pit stop in Tignes, we were stoked to have both Miguel & Nico Porteous stop by our Tignes Clothing & Coffee store to catch up, smash some ping-pong and of course chill with the big man himself… Biggie the Planks dog!
Planks founder Jim and the store managers were lucky enough to shred with the boys and even pick up a few new tricks!

Shredding with the girls in Morzine.
Organised by Mountain Mavericks, Onyx Snowboard school instructor Laura Berry and Planks Morzine Manager Sophie Offord, Morzine was super-lucky to see two Girls Shred Day events. The aim of these events was to introduce more girls to freestyle ski and snowboard, progress their skills and get hyped in a pressure free environment.
Both events went down like free ice-cream and it was so great to see everyone throwing down! You can still go and read through the full events of the day on the Shred Thread now.
On top of all the above, we also held some off-the-hook parties in Val dI’sere, had Mike Rowlands shredding around La Plagne, watched our staff members nail the rails in the park AND land the perfect dubs on the hill.

All in all, it’s been one hell of season. We’re super-sad to see the stores close but we already can’t wait for next year.
